Greased 2 

September 1st - October 29th, 2017

A new school year is about to begin at Rydell High in this musical inspired by Grease, and the "T-Birdies" are out to pick their new leader. Enjoy great music and comedy in this three-act performance done in a dinner theatre setting. You'll enjoy a delicious four-course meal and lots of nostalgia. 

Halloweekends at Calaway Park

September 9th - October 9th, 2017

Kids will love taking a walk down Hallo-Sreet during Calaway Park's Halloweekends. All your favourite Boo Crew characters will be there to welcome you. Enjoy fun activities and prizes, and be sure to wear a great family-friendly costume. 

Zachary Lucky at the Gallery

Piaf! - The Show

Arts Commons has put together a special show featuring the music of Edith Piaf, the renowned chanteuse from France. The star is Anne Carrare, who has been lauded as the singer's legitimate musical heir. This concert will be a musical treat because of the multi-media elements woven throughout the performance. 

The Israeli Chamber Project, Wyatt Concert Series

October 4th, 2017

This ensemble dates back to 2008 and features five of the most talented musicians Israel and New York have to offer. The members play the piano, clarinet, cello, viola, and violin, showcasing Israeli music with their talents. They also help give back to the community by participating in musical outreach and education programs.

Emmet Cahill's Ireland: Celtic Songs & Tales

October 4th, 2017

This popular lead singer from Celtic Thunder brings favourite songs to new audiences in his first Canadian tour and, luckily this includes a Calgary performance. The musical selection includes popular songs associated with the Irish like Danny Boy, Broadway treasures like Music of the Night, and several popular hymns. Cahill's tenor voice helps bring a new life to many of these songs.

Spruce Meadows Oktoberfest

October 12th - October 15th

This free equestrian event takes place at the Spruce Meadows Equi-Plex, making it easily accessible for people in most of the city's neighbourhoods. The jumps are as high as 1.40m, making a challenging competition for competitors and spectators alike. There are also concessions available so you can grab food and drinks while you're there. 

World Famous Popovich Pet Theatre

October 13th, 2017

This show is ranked one of the best family shows in Las Vegas, and many have looked forward to its arrival in Calgary. The show features dogs and cats who are mostly rescues and trained using humane, positive reinforcement methods. This production also features Moscow Circus acrobats, jugglers, and comedy acts.

This annual event helps promote diabetes research through exercise and fun activities for the whole family. The run and walk help promote crucial research both for the Alberta Diabetes Association and their area partners.
